The primary goals of AWE are to:

  • support events that showcase the arts in our schools
  • provide financial support and grants for the arts in the Western Albemarle feeder pattern schools
  • advocate for policies that strengthen fine arts programs

Arts in Western Education (AWE) is pleased to announce its grants and arts awards to our teachers in the Western Albemarle feeder schools for the 2015-16 academic year. These awards are made possible because of generous community businesses that support ArtFest in the West and the many parents and friends who attended ArtFest and who participate through the AWEsome 100 fundraising campaign.
